Introducing ProgressBee

I love word games. From Wordle to Quordle to Octordle to Semantle to Connections to the NYT Mini, I play them all. So I decided to make own of my own. Introducing ProgressBee!

The rules are quite simple. You will be given 4 letters to start. You have to input every valid word from those 4 letters. Each guess must at least be four letters (Most of the 3 letter words in modern dictionaries are alphabet soup).

Once you get all the valid words, a 5th letter will appear. You will then again need to solve for all valid 4+ letter words from the pool. Logically, they will all contain the 5th letter because you will have already solved for the ones that don’t. Once you get them all, a 6th letter appears. This goes on for 5 stages, with the last one having 8 total letters.

I really am happy with how this game turned out. It has a lot of the same elements as Spellsbee, as I said before, but with the idea of progressive difficulty since every stage will have more and more words. Hence, ProgressBee.

You can play ProgressBee here!

I am stil working on some features. Mainly, preserving the state across refreshes, instances. Also allowing users to access old games and keep track of their scores, Wordle-style. I will get to these eventually but right now am more focused on fleshing out other ideas.
